WARNING!

go to jailIn two separate incidents three ex Wittenborg students have been arrested by the Dutch Police for failing to prove legal stay in the Netherlands. Their residence cards were no longer valid and they had been de-registered as Wittenborg students. These three students will now be forced to leave the country immediately.

All students should be warned: Your residence card should be up to date always, or you should have a valid entry sticker in your passport. You should be correctly registered at the City Hall (Gemeente) and at the Foreign Police / IND. You should also be correctly registered by a state governed education institute (such as Wittenborg).

If these things are not in order you run the risk of arrest when stopped by the police. The Foreign Police are currently carrying out an enhanced clampdown on illegal “students”.
