Wittenborg University was represented by its Director of Studies, Peter Birdsall, at the 2014 ICEF Moscow event. The workshop brought together more than 200 study abroad representatives from Russia and it's neighbouring countries with education institutes from around the world.

The ICEF workshops offers study abroad agencies to promote themselves to education institutes, allowing educators to make contact with agents who best suit their needs. It also allows institutes to promote their education and explain in depth about their study programmes and the study environment.

Study in Holland is relatively unknown in Russia, and many representatives require information about the higher education structures in Holland, the fees and the visa regulations, as well as issues such as student accommodation and general information about living in the Netherlands.

Agents are pleased to discover that the programmes offered in the Netherlands are fully in English, and that the visa system is easy to manage. They also see the possibility to make use of a search year after graduation as an important unique selling point. The search year allows graduates to stay and work in the Netherlands for a year, during which time they can look for a position with a contract at a Dutch company.

During the weekend, Wittenborg University also paid a visit to the Netherlands Education Support Office (Neso) in Moscow to introduce its new brochures and meet the study in holland consultants who advise prospective students and organise promotion activities.
