Almost 60 new students from 21 different countries joined Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences this month for the start of the semester. A significant number, more than 30%, are master's students, doing an MBA or a Master in Business Management (MBM).

Before starting classes, most of the new students joined Wittenborg's 2-day Introduction Week activities, where they get a crash course in academic life at the institution along with some tips on living in the Netherlands.

Seven of the new students will study at Wittenborg's Amsterdam campus in the capital city, doing MBAs in different specialisations, or IBAs in Entrepreneurship and SME Management, or IBAs in Entrepreneurship & Small Business.

The new students are from Egypt, Russia, Iran, Nigeria, Canada, Zimbabwe, India, Thailand, Vietnam, Malawi, Cameroon, China, Sri Lanka, Morocco, Germany, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Uganda, Peru and Libya.

One of them is Adeola Fatekun from Nigeria. She will do her MBM in Enterpreneurship and Innovation. Her dream is to bring back the knowledge and skills she will learn from Wittenborg and put it all into practice in her home country.
