What to Expect from the Next Edition of Wittenborg's 2026 Summer School
Wittenborg is preparing its Summer School programme for 2026, offering an exciting international learning experience that combines academic development, practical training, and cultural immersion.
Hosted in Apeldoorn, the programme will welcome students from around the world across multiple summer intakes, beginning with its first intake from 13 to 24 July 2026.
Regional Admissions Manager Eunice Cheung says the Summer School offers students a chance to grow academically while experiencing a new culture.
“Students can expect a dynamic two-week programme that combines academic learning with hands-on activities and memorable cultural experiences,” she said. “There is a mix of workshops, case studies, group discussions and practical exercises to help students develop communication, leadership, marketing and English language skills.”
Students will work in international teams, giving them the chance to meet people from different backgrounds and build intercultural awareness, while also gaining skills that are useful for both study and future careers.
A stronger focus on leadership and communication
The 2026 programme has been updated to place more emphasis on intercultural communication and leadership, especially during the first intake in July.
Cheung said the changes were made following positive feedback from previous students.
“We are especially excited to offer an enhanced programme with more excursions and cultural experiences,” she said. “This year includes more interactive sessions, group challenges, and opportunities for students to explore the Netherlands.”
The programme now includes more hands-on learning, as well as time for students to reflect on what they have learned and how they can apply it in real life.
Building skills for an international future
The Summer School is aimed at students who are interested in business, communication and leadership, and who want to gain experience in an international setting.
During the programme, students will improve their English and develop skills such as teamwork, problem-solving and decision-making. They will also learn how to communicate across cultures and think more strategically.
Exploring the Netherlands
Alongside their studies, students take part in cultural activities to help them experience life in the Netherlands.
This includes trips to Amsterdam, Zaanse Schans, and visits to The Hague and Scheveningen Beach, as well as activities in and around Apeldoorn.
Students stay in modern studio accommodation close to their classes, with meals, study materials and social activities all included.
The Summer School will have three intakes for 2026:
- 13–24 July 2026
- 27 July – 7 August 2026
- 10–21 August 2026
Each intake offers a similar mix of learning, skills development and cultural activities.
Learning, culture and new connections
Cheung said the programme is about more than just studying.
“Students should choose Wittenborg Summer School 2026 because it offers a great mix of learning, practical experience, cultural activities and meeting people from around the world,” she said. “It’s a chance to step outside your comfort zone, grow as a person, and create lasting memories.”
