Aleksandre Meparidze Delivered Presentation to Georgian Students

On 6 April, Wittenborg was represented by graduate Aleksandre Meparidze at the seminar “Study in the Netherlands: Practical Education and Career Development”. The event was conducted in Tbilisi, Georgia, in partnership with Georgian agency Training Lab.

During the session, Meparidze delivered a presentation and answered the audience’s questions on multiple topics, including housing in the Netherlands, visas and the application process, life in Apeldoorn, scholarships, structure and length of the programmes and admission requirements at Wittenborg.

The alumnus, who completed an IBA degree in Economics and Management, explained that he decided to participate in the event as a volunteer for several reasons. “I always put myself in the shoes of students and try to help them find out what they want to learn and where they can get the education they are looking for, because I understand how important this information is for them. On top of that, I am proud to represent Wittenborg, because it has given me valuable experience and education, and I want other students to know about the opportunities offered by the school”, he said.

Meparidze added that studying at Wittenborg has enabled him to achieve his goals and follow the plans he has made for his future. “The skills and knowledge that Wittenborg provided me with have been really useful in my professional career. Currently, my goal is to get more experience in the field of finance, obtain a Chartered Financial Analyst certificate and, later, go back to the Netherlands to work for an investment bank.”
