Debbie Kuang's Stone placed yesterday (12 March 2013)

Yesterday morning at the public cemetery in Epe, near Apeldoorn, the gravestone of Wittenborg student Debbie Kuang was placed, as instructed by Wittenborg University. Debbie died of cancer in May 2012, after a long battle, and many students and staff members were very involved in the period before and after her death. A commemorative scholarship fund was set up after her death to help support students from developing countries to study at Wittenborg University, and in September 2013 the first 8 students will start their studies under the Debbie Scholarship Fund.
