Insurance: Do I need to have a valid insurance even if I am temporarily outside of Netherlands?

If you are registered in the Netherlands, it is
compulsory for you to take out Dutch health insurance. You should still keep your insurance
even if you are temporarily abroad. Healthcare
insurance from your home country is not sufficient.
