Answer: If a student’s account denies access, this can have multiple reasons. Below the 3 most common reasons are highlighted.

Answer: In the event of losing a student card, you must go to the Aventus main reception on the ground floor for a replacement card at a charge of €7.50 by debit card. Cash will not be accepted. Note:Without a student card, you cannot enter an exam room or certain parts of the Wittenborg campus. | ||||

Answer: Student CardA student card is an identification card to show that someone is enrolled as a student of Wittenborg. A student card also allows students to use the elevator in the Aventus building and to access the rooms downstairs in the Aventus building. Note:Some companies give discounts to students if they can show their student ID. How to obtain a student cardThe Front Office will apply for student cards for new students. Once you have taken all the steps on the new student checklist, go to the Front Desk to collect the pick-up slip. With this pick-up slip, you can go to the central reception area of Aventus to have your student card made immediately. | ||||

Answer: Wittenborg offers accommodation in a number of different types and places, all enjoying close proximity to the university:
Dutch or other EU-national students are encouraged to find their own accommodation; however, they can opt for Wittenborg’s own accommodation if available. If you are a non-EU, ‘package-fee’-paying student who needs Wittenborg to arrange your study visa to be able to join us in Apeldoorn, part of your package fee is the first 4 months* of your accommodation fee, plus administration fee for new-arrival students. You will be allocated a room in either an apartment or a house sharing a common area and all facilities, such as a bathroom, toilet, kitchen, etc., with other students, both male and female. After the first 4 months* you are free to move out of Wittenborg accommodation and move into other housing of your choice. Answer: Wittenborg University student housing provides you with the basics items before you move in. This means you won’t need to carry items like a bed, wardrobe, bed cover/ bed sheets, pillow and pillow cover. There is also a blanket provided by Wittenborg student housing department. Some useful things like cups, bowl and plate is provided for each student on arrival in the student housing. It is always worthy to check on Wittenborg’s website what your accommodation includes. Answer: Submissions of assignments just a few minutes before the deadline can be a risky issue. This is because it can take a few minutes before the system registers your uploaded work. Therefore, the student must always upload all assignments with sufficient time left in order for the work to be stamped in time. Submitting with sufficient time will also allow the student to correct any mistakes in the assignment. Consigning submissions at least 24 hours before the actual deadline may be a safe measure and can prevent any last-minute stress or failure of submissions. Note:For any technical reason for non-submission or failure to upload assignments, please contact your teacher and healpdesk@wittenborg.eu. | ||||

Answer: SEA has no direct connection to the Academic English classes of the PDP1 or PDP 2 modules. Whether pass or fail in SEA, students must attend Academic English classes, a component of PDP – entry points only in Bocks 1 and 5. | ||||

Answer: Support English Assessment (SEA) is a mandatory Diagnostic Writing Test that every new student has to take. The purpose of this test is to recognise, at an early stage, the students who exhibit weak writing skills. Students who fail this test are then directed to join the Support English module in order to raise their English standards to enable them to take the Academic English module. Wittenborg's Support English portal can be visited via your phone, tablet or computer. You have to enrol in the module using the enrolment key. order to add courses to your timetable please go to timetable.wittenborg.eu,
log in with your student account and choose your study programme and phase (for bachelor's degree students only). Once the courses are selected add them to your
timetable. Then you will be able to view your schedule in a day/week/month
