Answer: Student Support is organised through the Front Desk. Staff are able to manage all general questions regarding the university and living in the Netherlands. Front Desk staff also assist students in the submission and collection of documents, including all aspects of registration and residence permits. Student Support assists with the following:

Answer: If you have lost your OV-Chipkaart or if it is defective, then you will have to cancel the travel product via the OV-Chipkaart Customer Service Department. Contact them by dialling 0900-0980 (normal call charges apply). | ||

Answer: In the Netherlands, the easiest way to take the bus, train, subway, or tramway is to use an OV-Chipcard (PT Smart Card). The costs for the OV-Chipkaart itself is €7,50 and can be bought at https://www.ov-chipkaart.nl/purchase-an-ov-chipkaart.htm or at the local NS-service points. There are two different OV cards.

Answer: Internships are only possible and allowed while you are still registered at the university. You can do your internship only during your study and not after the completion of your studies.

Answer: Yes. Each Wittenborg Student Housing comes with a heating system installed. The temperature is set to 21 degrees celsius and this temperature must always be maintained. Please avoid unnecessary use of energy and gas as it may cause additional expenses for the university. Answer: At check-in, residents are provided with an inventory checklist, the Check-In Form*. Please use this document to report any issues within your apartment and submit it signed to the front office within 3 working days of your arrival. If this document is not submitted, it is taken as confirmation that all items, and dormitory, as set out in the inventory checklist, are present and in good condition. Residents must pay for any damages incurred outside normal ‘wear and tear’. *This list is used again when checking out. The items on the back of the form must be present when checking out. All missing items are to be paid for by the leaving student. The personal items on the list must be removed from the room. | ||
