Answer: All students are required to submit their written reports/assignments/exams through the Turnitin plagiarism software. This is considered part of the formal submission requirements. Turnitin is used by Wittenborg University of Applied Science to detect cases of plagiarism. The software compares the writing used within any document to other sources, for instance, websites on the Internet, journal articles, books, and other student work from other universities. Further details of the Turnitin submission process are provided during Wittenborg Introduction Week. In the attached document you will see the detailed guide. | ||

If you wish to speak to any of the Wittenborg staff, please invite them for an appointment using the Outlook Calendar. You can find the email addresses of all staff in your Outlook address book. If you want to make an appointment with your process tutor, you need to fill in the form provided to you in your process tutor area. In the attached document you will find a detailed guide. Please note that the meetings with your process tutor are only online and will be held on MS Teams. You can communicate with Wittenborg teachers and staff via Email, Teams or Phone. Teachers usually provide their email addresses to students during the first lesson, so do take down their email addresses when given. Additionally, you can find email addresses of Wittenborg staff in your Outlook address book. You can also find the teachers/staff by typing their names in Teams and you can directly communicate with them. If you are unsure, you can always contact front desk for help at frontdesk@wittenborg.eu. All students are required to use their Wittenborg student email with S#@student.wittenborg.eu for any official communication. Note:In relation to the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) it is essential that students only send university-related material and emails through the official student email account (@student.wittenborg.eu). the Intranet! In any modern learning environment, online information plays an important role. At
Wittenborg, students can access course information, modules, web mail, their
account information and many other utilities, through the intranet. www.wittenborg-online.com Logging in www.wittenborg-online.comLogin is done by using your assigned user name (studentnumber@student.wittenborg.eu) and password. will then be asked to edit your profile, which happens only one time. After you have logged in

Exchange Email and Exchange System. Assignments onlineIntranet is used more and more by Wittenborg to allow students to upload their assignments.

Answer: If students are sick, or have another serious reason for not attending class, they should contact their module teacher by sending an email directly, with a copy to their process tutor/study advisor. Take note that no lessons will be facilitated online. All students are expected to attend all classes on-campus. Read the EEG Part 5: General Assessment Policy.

hidden to students and the upload area in the next block will open. If you miss the

Answer: Wittenborg offers students an introduction day to make sure students have all the information and documents they need to start their education at the university.
Introduction Week consists of three parts. Wednesday: For International Students International students will receive all information and documentation regarding registration in the Netherlands. The Wittenborg Front Desk will also provide information about living in the city, and all legal registration information. On this day, there is an ICT session for all new students to learn how to use Online area and know about their specialisation and modules. This is a very important session and students should not miss it. Thursday: General Introduction Day The general introduction is mandatory for all students of Wittenborg. Front Desk will collect the names of all students for attendance. They will also explain what can be expected on the day. On the introduction day there will also be a lunch arranged with pictures. Introduction day will end around 14:00. Friday morning: For All Students Students will have two sessions: academic English and Harvard referencing. The English writing diagnostic test will also take place on Friday of the introduction week. If students have missed parts of the introduction day, catch-up may be done in Project Week.
